The valley station of the Kreischberg cable car can easily be reached by foot. The ski region Kreischberg offers 11 ski lifts and 42 km of pistes. If there are good snow conditions, you can ski almost to the Chalet.

Close to the Chalet, the cross country skiing track starts at Lutzmannsdorfbrücke and follows the Mur and the railway tracks to Stadl an der Mur.

Cross country skiing track Kreischberg
The cross country skiing track on Kreischberg at an elevation of 1,400 meters provides snow security and a romantic course through the Swiss pine forest. After the ascend with the cable car, the 2.5 km long track starts right at the mountain station.

For kids, there is a tubing facility at the mountaing station of the Kreischberg cable car. You are going downhill in cyberspeed in one of the three cordoned tracks.
